Vendor Information for 2025 Convention
Guild Level
As a guild level vendor participant, your company will enjoy the following exclusive benefits:
- Product demonstrations given by your reps to a highly engaged audience the day before convention kick-off in our hands-on experience center.
- The experience center will have multiple demo walls built and set up for you along with adhesives, tools, and tables available for your company to show its latest and greatest products/materials to those who are in the field every day working with your products.
Conference Registration for up to four people at your premium booth for vendor showcase day and throughout the entire convention.
- Your 10×20 booth will be featured in a prominent location throughout the entire convention, not only on vendor showcase day. This gives you greater opportunity to meet with more people at a less rushed pace, allowing for deeper technical discussions.
- Booths will be set up in high traffic communal areas where attendees will mingle in between sessions and on breaks.
Pre-convention Promotional Emails and Social Media Posts
- For months leading up to the event, the WIA communicates with the attendees regularly through email and social media posts. As a guild level vendor, we welcome you to send us content you would like added to these communication outreaches.
- In addition, you will have access to all WIA 2025 attendees’ email addresses so you may not only directly encourage them to stop by your booth and attend the pre-convention product demos at the experience center, but also follow up with them post-convention to get feedback regarding your product and presentation.
Company Video Playing Throughout Convention
With a video provided by you, we will play it strategically throughout the convention during breaks and prior to session kick-off times.

Classic Level
As a Classic level vendor participant, your company will enjoy the following benefits:
- Conference Registration for up to two people at your booth on vendor showcase day.
- Your 10×10 booth will be featured on vendor showcase day. Installers will have time and opportunity on this day to visit your booth to learn more about your product and what you offer and to ask technical questions. This is a great time to hear feedback from those that are in the field daily installing your product.
Additional Support Needs?
If your company would like to add representatives above what is included in your chosen package, you are welcome to do so at a fee of $600 per additional attendee.
Ask About Vendor Collaboration Opportunities
We understand not every vendor is in a position to support or justify the investment alone. Let us help connect you with other mom & pop vendors to create a collaborative match made in heaven where two or three work together for a shared vendor booth. These booths will only be offered at the Classic Level and only in certain circumstances. Collaboration booths must be approved through the WIA vendor sub-committee.
See What Vendors Have to Say
We at Thibaut have found in our 15 plus years with the WIA to be an extremely useful resource that enhanced and benefited our business thus allowing us to provide the customer care we are known for as well as a quality product. Without the WIA, we don’t believe we would be one of the leaders in wallcovering distribution that we are today.
Some of the benefits we have found are:
- Monitoring and soliciting feedback from installers in the field that we utilize to enhance our documentation and install instructions.
- Installer feedback regarding product performance has provided us with the advantage of understanding and the ability to improve our products.
- The WIA website offers a “Find an Installer” feature, a “Wallcovering Resource for Consumers” section of which we have directed customer inquiries to.
- The Wallcovering installer school RIS program has been an instrumental tool for Thibaut QC employee training.
The Wallcovering Installers Association’s National Convention
The Wallcovering Installers Association’s National Convention provides ProHanger Supply and tapo-fix GmbH & Co. with direct, face-to-face access to our precise target audience. Wallcovering installers are a niche market and no other organization has their attention and following like the WIA. The national convention venue has provided us with the golden opportunity to build and maintain relationships with our product’s users and to convert new attendees into believers of our brand’s value. Through participating in the national convention, we are able to present our products directly to the people within the industry who are the influencers and decision-makers in their respective markets. The messages we deliver at the convention reverberate across the nation as attendees return home and begin relaying those messages to their respective spheres of influence through jobsite interactions, social media posts, and other forms of trickle-down communication. Dollar-for-dollar, the WIA’s annual convention is easily one of the smartest investments in marketing we make each year.

Connecting Product to Installer
Connecting product (type, composition, manufacturing process) to the installer and in return connecting the installation process back to the manufacturer is vital – it takes both sides of this team to make the product a success on the wall. The more interchange of information, the better, and what better place to do that but at convention where we all literally convene! The insights we get from watching, discussing, and learning at convention come back to our corporate office and make a difference to many aspects of producing our wallcovering (substrates, installation instructions etc.) We also get a chance to discuss the capabilities of our various types of production, how they differ and what to expect. We always take a video of some of the manufacturing processes for those who have not had the opportunity to tour our facility. At convention, we also catch up with vendors who produce products to aid in installation and see their latest developments, learn about them, and come back with updated information on that front as well. Paste advancements, cutting tools – things of this nature – it’s important for us to keep pace with their new developments as well.

Arte’s Experience with WIA
Arte attends the WIA national convention each year as this organization attracts some of the most experienced installers in the US and we would like to share our incredible product offerings with them. This provides exposure to new wallcovering manufacturing techniques so that when one of the WIA installers comes across our wallcovering specifications they have knowledge prior to the installation to feel confident about material type or resource to contact before the installation. Also, these conventions are a great place to get one-on-one time to deepen our relationships with the members of this organization. We are excited to strengthen our installer network through the WIA.
We have experienced the utmost respect in partnering with the WIA members due to the national convention. An example of this network was a few years ago we had a high visibility “mica wallcovering” installation that the initial installer claimed was defective, we reached out to a WIA member to critique. Once the installation was reviewed, the WIA member and Arte determined that the wallcovering was not defective just above the technical capabilities of the original installer. We established that it would be best to repair than to remove and re-install the original wallcovering. We hired the WIA member for a small fee and within two weeks and a couple of site visits by the member, the wallcovering was repaired and approved by ownership.
